A pair of vintage decorative globe bookends, featuring terrestrial globes mounted on dark-stained wooden L-shaped bases. Each globe is set within a black meridian ring graduated with numerical degree markings and is decorated with reproduction antique-style maps showing continents and oceans. Visible text includes Asia, Africa, and America, as well as Italian labels such as Mare Del Nord and America Settentrionale. The globes are held in place by brass-toned metal hardware which allows for rotation. The wooden bases are of simple L-shaped construction with a dark-stained finish.
