The central decorative motif depicts two helmeted profiles of warriors in the Renaissance Revival style, flanked by heraldic shields containing rampant lions and surrounded by geometric patterns. The leather panel is bordered by a row of decorative metal studs. The interior is divided into three fixed compartments, showing a prominent wood grain and a rich reddish-brown stain. The box is fitted with two black-finished metal hinges at the rear.
