An Arts and Crafts style spirit kettle on a warming stand, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. The kettle features a bulbous, slightly flattened body with a cast spout and an overhead handle. The stand consists of an openwork lattice-effect gallery supported by four splayed legs. For thermal insulation, the kettle’s overhead handle and the twin side handles of the stand are wrapped in wicker. No maker’s marks or hallmarks are discernible on the pieces. The spirit burner component is missing from the centre of the stand.
