A contemporary desk clock of rectangular sleeve form, constructed from brushed white metal with a satin finish, possibly pewter or a similar alloy. The design consists of an outer rectangular sheath with flared pedestal ends, one of which features a hinged, square-form pull handle. Operating the handle reveals an inner sliding compartment that houses the clock face on one of its lateral surfaces. The rear of the outer sheath is fitted with a protective black felt pad. The minimalist rectangular white dial is printed with black Roman numerals at the III, VI, and IX positions, with a baton marker at XII and slim black hour and minute hands. The movement is a quartz mechanism. No brand, maker’s marks, or reference numbers are present on the visible surfaces. Box and papers are not included.
