A commemorative two-piece model vehicle set by Lledo, celebrating The Dandy comic, identified as model number DA1002. The set comprises two free-wheeling vehicles finished in themed liveries. The first vehicle is a delivery van in a white and yellow colour scheme, featuring graphics of Korky the Cat on the sides. The second is a vintage-style open-cab delivery truck in a red, cream, and blue livery, decorated with the front cover of the first issue of The Dandy Comic dated 4th December 1937 and an illustration of the character Desperate Dan. Both models are constructed from die-cast metal with plastic components. They are housed in the original presentation box, which is decorated with an all-over comic strip graphic design. The reverse of the box features a detailed printed history of the publication, noting its launch by D.C. Thomson and the evolution of its characters. The Lledo manufacturer logo and the model number DA1002 are clearly marked on the packaging.
