A collection of vintage vanity items and decorative objects comprising various powder compacts, scent bottles, and trinket boxes. The group includes a large green pressed glass powder jar with a silver-toned lid, a tall frosted glass scent bottle featuring jewelled metal filigree, and a porcelain scent bottle in the form of a bell with floral decoration. Among the compacts are a novelty fish-shaped case in gold-coloured metal, a heart-shaped compact with an engine-turned lid, a large square polished silver-toned compact, and a rectangular compact with a radiating sunburst design set with stones. One silver-toned compact is presented in its original black box marked Hana x Now. The collection also features a small circular lidded ceramic pot with the inscription 1510-1982 Mary Rose, a small cloisonne-style trinket box, and several smaller boxes with ceramic inserts depicting floral and figural scenes. Additional items include a lacquer-ware style circular compact with gilt floral motifs, a decorative peacock-form caddy, and a Venetian-style mask brooch. The pieces are constructed from glass, porcelain, enamel, and various base metals with gilt and silver-toned finishes.
