A selection of vintage ladies’ powder compacts. The collection features a Vogue Vanities circular gold-tone metal compact decorated with an etched grapevine and berry design. The interior contains a glass mirror and a hinged metal powder cover, which is marked with a printed brand name in block and cursive characters reading VOGUE Vanities INVENTED AND MADE IN ENGLAND. This compact is accompanied by its original branded cardboard presentation box and a circular powder puff, both of which display the same brand logo. Also included is a Stratton scalloped gold-tone compact. The top is finished in white enamel with a central polychrome floral spray within a navy blue and gilt foliate border. The base features an engine-turned textured finish with a raised rectangular plaque reading Stratton Made in England. The interior includes a glass mirror and a hinged powder cover.
