Below the image is a printed narrative block detailing the mission on 27 April 1942 involving RAF 10, 35, and 76 Squadrons, the aircraft’s crash landing on Lake Hoklingen, and its eventual recovery by a team in 1973. The work is signed and dated within the print plate at the lower right Chris Golds ’82. The piece is presented in a glazed, silver-toned metal frame with a cream-coloured mount.
