A ceramic elephant garden seat or plant stand, designed in the Chinese style. The item is crafted from polychrome glazed ceramic, depicting a standing white elephant with its trunk curled inward, supporting a square, flat-topped platform on its back. The elephant is caparisoned with a relief-molded harness and a saddlecloth. The decoration features scrollwork, floral motifs, and geometric patterns executed in a palette of turquoise green, ochre, and deep blue glazes against a white ground. The top of the platform features a central circular motif resembling a stylized Shou (longevity) character. No manufacturer marks or model numbers are visible.
