A pair of hand-carved wooden bowls with corresponding interlocking tripod stands, fashioned from a dark-stained hardwood. Each bowl is designed with a shallow, circular basin and a wide rim featuring a continuous band of relief-carved decoration. This decoration consists of stylized floral and foliate motifs. The stands are each composed of three separate, hand-carved wooden sections that interlock at a central point to form a stable tripod base. These sections are carved into organic, branch-like forms. This style of decorative woodcraft is characteristic of items produced in South Asia, particularly Pakistan and India, during the 20th century. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are present on any of the pieces.
