A vintage Palitoy Lite-Brite creative toy set. The set comprises a white plastic light box unit featuring a black perforated pegboard front. This battery-operated device contains an internal light source designed to illuminate translucent pegs. Accompanying the unit is a collection of coloured plastic pegs in various shades including orange, blue, yellow, purple, and green. Some pegs are loose while others are contained within plastic bags printed with UK currency denominations. The set includes a group of black paper picture templates, some of which feature designs such as a sailboat, fruit bowl, and jungle scene. Also included is an original Palitoy order form and instruction sheet. The entire contents are housed within the original pictorial cardboard box. The box is clearly marked with the Lite-Brite brand and by palitoy manufacturer logo.
