The carving features elongated facial features with almond-shaped heavy-lidded eyes and a broad nose. The figure is shown wearing a headpiece or crown decorated with incised cross-hatch patterns. The hair is represented by deep, flowing linear carvings. The piece is finished with a dark brown stain which serves to highlight the textured carvings and natural wood grain.
