A trio of moulded composition reproduction figures based on the Terracotta Army of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. The set comprises one kneeling archer and two standing soldiers, each finished in a dark grey-black tone to simulate the appearance of the original archaeological finds. The figures are presented in a rectangular, fabric-covered case with a patterned blue and red exterior and a red textile-lined interior with shaped recesses. The interior of the lid features a printed paper label with Chinese text titled World’s Eighth Wonder: Terracotta Warriors. The text provides a historical summary of the mausoleum’s location near Xi’an and its 1974 discovery. Production details for a factory in Xi’an are included at the base of the label along with a telephone number (029) 3912911. A blurred red ink seal is stamped on the left side of the paper label.
