A vintage table crumber set consisting of a natural-fibre brush and a brass tray with an integrated stand. The tray and its upright support arm are fashioned from brass, with the tray formed from pressed sheet metal and the support appearing to be cast or wrought, terminating in a hook to hold the brush. The brush features a curved handle carved from a medium-toned hardwood, possibly oak. The ergonomic form is designed for clearing crumbs from a dining table, a tool historically referred to as a silent butler. There are no maker’s marks, hallmarks, or factory stamps visible on the components.
