A late 19th or early 20th-century hand-pumped horticultural sprayer manufactured by Benton and Stone of Birmingham. The device features a cylindrical copper body with an applied oval brass maker’s plaque embossed with the trade name ENOTS. It is equipped with a long, curved brass delivery tube terminating in a textured spray nozzle. The pump mechanism is operated by a brass piston handle with a spherical knob. The top of the cylinder includes a brass filler cap secured with a winged butterfly nut. A tubular brass grip is mounted to the side of the main body. The construction utilises sheet copper with soldered seams and cast or machined brass fittings.
