A traditional brass kettle constructed from sheet brass, featuring a cylindrical body with a stepped, sloping shoulder. The kettle is fitted with a curved swan-neck spout and a fixed, arched brass handle. This handle incorporates a central cylindrical grip secured by nuts at either end and is fixed to the body with riveted rectangular brackets. The piece is complete with a matching domed lid topped by a small turned finial. This item is characteristic of late Victorian or Edwardian British domestic metalware. No maker’s marks or hallmarks are visible.
