A brass cachepot or small jardinière featuring a planished, hand-hammered texture across the exterior body. The vessel is decorated with two applied horizontal bands of twisted rope-work brass wire. A single rectangular handle, also of twisted wire construction, is secured to the side by two small spherical brass bosses. The piece is finished with a wide, flared rim. No maker’s marks are visible on the item. A white adhesive lot label is present on the interior rim.
