A pair of antique kitchen vessels constructed from heavy-gauge brass, likely dating from the 19th century. The collection comprises a deep saucepan or dipper and a small bucket or pot. The saucepan features a long wrought iron handle terminating in a turned wooden grip, secured to the body with three solid copper rivets. The second vessel is a brass bucket or pot of similar proportions, fitted with a wrought iron swing bail handle attached via side brackets and copper rivets. Both items feature decorative incised horizontal banding below the upper rim. The bodies appear to be of spun or wrought construction. No maker’s marks or stamps are visible on either piece.
