A standard British military pattern bugle constructed with a copper body and a flared brass bell. The instrument is associated with the West Yorkshire Regiment (The Prince of Wales’s Own) and features several applied insignias. These include a brass King’s Crown (Tudor Crown) positioned above a curved brass banner inscribed WEST YORKSHIRE. Below this is a white metal regimental badge depicting the White Horse of Hanover set above a scroll also bearing the regimental title. The bugle is fitted with a removable silver-coloured metal mouthpiece, likely nickel-plated brass. It retains its original twisted regimental cord in red, yellow, and blue-black strands, which terminates in two tassels. A small, rectangular stamp is present on the brass bell near the rim, though the specific characters are not clearly legible.
