A Victorian style brass spirit kettle featuring a melon-lobed body constructed from sheet brass. The kettle is designed with a curved, tapering spout and a domed lid surmounted by a small circular finial. It is fitted with a high-arched, scrolling brass handle containing a central ebonised turned wooden grip for heat insulation. The kettle sits atop a separate cast brass stand with a flared pedestal and a triform base. The centre of the stand features a circular well intended to house a spirit burner. No maker marks or hallmarks are visible on the piece.
