An Edwardian style folding three-tier cake stand, dating to the early 20th century. The stand is constructed from mahogany with a rich dark finish. It features three circular solid wood tiers, each with a decorative moulded edge. The tiers are mounted on brass hinges, allowing them to fold vertically into the frame for storage. The frame is composed of two curved side rails that taper into splayed out-swept feet. The uprights are joined at the top by a turned mahogany handle. No maker marks or labels are visible.
Height: Approximately 85-95 cm.
