A set of four graduated brass saucepans, constructed for heavy domestic kitchen use. Each bowl is made from brass and features a long, riveted iron handle. The handles for the three larger vessels are tubular in form, while the smallest pan is fitted with a solid, flat-tapered handle. All handles are attached to the bowls with two rivets. The set displays a traditional utilitarian style, frequently found in British country house or farmhouse settings during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. No maker’s marks or hallmarks are visible on the metal. An inventory sticker with the handwritten number 137 is adhered to the interior of the smallest pan.
